Gemma graduated from the University of Sydney completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Movement Science and a Masters in Physiotherapy. Gemma’s passion for health and fitness has ever fuelled her interest in a holistic approach to wellbeing, injury management and injury prevention. Whether this be for the elite sportsperson, the office worker or the elderly, Gemma’s goals are to help improve the client’s full health and wellbeing to be the best they can be. She has a special interest in rehabilitation for the athlete, particularly shoulders and knees.
Gemma is a qualified clinical pilates instructor and enjoys teaching and practicing pilates in both a preventative and therapeutic setting. She has also provided physiotherapy with various sports including rowing, rugby, AFL, running, soccer and softball. At the recent International Friendship Series Softball she covered the Australian U17s girl softball team providing on and off field care.
Gemma is committed to providing an effective and evidence based approach to achieve optimal outcomes for her clients, with exercise as a key component of rehabilitation and prevention process.
